You design the pages of your stamp albums on the main screen of Stamp Album Studio. You achieve this by drawing objects like stamps and text labels on the page. The main screen gives a realistic view of what the page looks like when it is printed on paper.
Scan and analyse Without doubt, the best addition to Stamp Album Studio 2 is the function 'Scan and analyse'. With this function it has become possible to read stamps from your scanner. You can place more stamps on your scanner at the same time. Stamp Album Studio will separate and straighten the stamps automatically. Then, you can immediately position the stamps onto your album page. So it is no longer necessary to measure the stamp sizes yourself or scan the images of stamps by using an external program. Layout Wizard Stamp Album Studio offers Wizards that position and align stamps on your pages automatically. You will notice that you are relieved of a lot of annoying and time consuming work. This enables you to concentrate more on determining which stamps you want to draw and less on positioning and aligning them. The Layout Wizard is especially useful in cases when you want to draw more than one stamp or more than one group. The Layout Wizard can help you in designing your page in such a way that the work you have to do is limited to entering the sizes and the number of stamps. The Layout Wizard will automatically position and align the stamps on the page. After this you only have to enter text labels and possibly borders and lines to enhance your page. The Layout Wizard can do the following actions for you: Position stamps automatically on the pages Align stamps automatically, horizontally as well as vertically Keep the right distance between stamps of the same group or series), between stamps of different groups or between stamps and borders automatically
Borders and lines The purpose of a border is mostly to group or emphasize a number of objects. For example a group of stamps with a common characteristic like a watermark can be surrounded by a border. The purpose of a line is mostly to divide a page or beautify it. For example a horizontal line can divide the page in two parts. Stamps above the line have other characteristics than the stamps below the line.
Text labels Stamp Album Studio offers you the possibility to add three text labels to your stamps. The location of the labels are above, inside or below the stamp. Besides labels your can also add free texts to your page. A free text can be positioned anywhere on your page and has no relation to other objects.
Images Images can beautify a page and also clearify which stamps are drawn on a page. Stamp Album Studio not only has the possibility to add images to stamps. It can also position images anywhere on a page. For example you can place your logo at the bottom of your pages or you can place a watermark in the background of your page.
Templates The pages in your album often have a fixed design, like a border around the page, a title and a page number. Furthermore texts and labels often have a fixed font. If you need to design more than one page, the repetitive drawing of these objects on every page becomes an annoying job.
